Okay, so Brian is done with his side of the story, my version always has a bit more colour if I say so myself. 😊

On this faithful day…

The very day I brought so much joy, colour, and vibrancy into Brian’s life, haha. Betty tell the story already! 

 

Okay back to the story…

The day we met, my roommate and I were meant to attend an event later that evening. I canceled on her because I wasn’t feeling up to it anymore, choosing instead to hang out with a few other friends in the neighborhood.

For some reason, I just kept feeling like going back home, and I couldn’t explain why. It kept tugging on my heart so I decided to give in. I told my friends that I was leaving and started heading home. 
 

Unknown to me, his heart had been calling out to mine. I walk into my apartment and the first person I see is Brian. In my mind, I’m thinking "ouuu who is this fineeee person!" But of course, I had to keep my calm. A girl can’t show she’s too excited lol.

I did some small talk and then he asked if I was coming for the event.

At first, I was reluctant, but only because I wanted him to keep asking.

 

Eventually, I said yes. One of the best decisions I have ever made. The whole evening we spoke as if we had known each other for years. Following that conversation, a beautiful friendship blossomed. ❤️

Brian is perfect beyond what words can describe, I am so glad I yielded to the tugging in my heart and even more blessed with how the Lord will enrich our union!
